General Terms and Conditions of Sale
Last updated: October 20, 2026
Article 1 – Purpose
These general terms and conditions of sale (T&Cs) govern sales concluded on the website www.harlowsons.com between [Company name to be completed], operator of the Harlow & Sons brand (hereinafter "the Seller"), and any natural person acting as a consumer (hereinafter "the Customer"). Any order implies the unconditional acceptance of these T&Cs.
Article 2 – Products
The products offered (winders, sets, display cases, cases, and watches) are described with the greatest possible accuracy. The photographs are non-contractual; slight variations in shade or finish may exist, particularly for natural materials (leather, wood). Offers are valid while stocks last.
Article 3 – Prices
Prices are indicated in euros, all taxes included (TTC), excluding delivery costs. Delivery costs are indicated before the order is confirmed. The Seller reserves the right to change its prices at any time; the applicable price is the one displayed at the time the order is confirmed.
Article 4 – Order
The Customer selects their products, adds them to the cart, enters their contact details, and then confirms payment. The order is final after payment confirmation. A confirmation email summarizing the order is sent to the Customer. The Seller reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of a prior dispute or suspicion of fraud.
Article 5 – Payment
Payment is made online using the methods offered at checkout (bank card and other displayed methods). Transactions are secure and encrypted; the Seller never has access to the Customer's banking data.
Article 6 – Delivery
Products are delivered to the address provided by the Customer when placing the order.
- France: free tracked delivery on purchases of €50 or more, €7.90 below that.
- European Union: free tracked delivery on purchases of €50 or more, €9.90 below that.
- Other destinations: free tracked delivery on purchases of €150 or more, €19.90 below that.
The estimated delivery time is 5 to 10 business days in France and the European Union, and 7 to 15 business days for other destinations, starting from the order confirmation. If the delay exceeds 30 days, the Customer may cancel their order under the conditions of Article L.216-6 of the Consumer Code. For deliveries outside the European Union, any import duties and taxes remain the responsibility of the recipient.
The Customer checks the condition of the package upon receipt and reports any anomaly to customer service within 48 hours, with supporting photos.
Article 7 – Right of Withdrawal
In accordance with Articles L.221-18 et seq. of the Consumer Code, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the product to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to justify a reason. They inform the Seller of their decision by email at contact@harlowsons.com, specifying their order number, or by using the standard form below.
The product must be returned complete, in its original packaging and in perfect condition, no later than 14 days after communicating the decision to withdraw, to the address provided by customer service. The Seller will refund the full amount paid, including the initial delivery costs (based on the standard delivery method), no later than 14 days after being informed of the decision; they may delay the refund until receipt of the product or proof of its shipment. The refund is made using the payment method used when placing the order. The Customer may be held liable in the event of product depreciation resulting from handling other than that necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and proper functioning.
Withdrawal form: "To the attention of [Company name], [address], contact@harlowsons.com. I hereby notify you of my withdrawal from the contract relating to the sale of the item below: [product], ordered on [date] / received on [date]. Customer name, customer address, date."
Article 8 – Legal Guarantees
All products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L.217-3 et seq. of the Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the Civil Code).
The consumer has a period of two years from the delivery of the goods to obtain the enforcement of the legal guarantee of conformity in the event of a lack of conformity. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity and not the date of its appearance. The legal guarantee of conformity entitles the consumer to the repair or replacement of the goods within thirty days of the request, without cost or major inconvenience to the consumer. If the goods cannot be repaired or replaced, the consumer is entitled to a price reduction or rescission of the contract. The consumer may also act under the guarantee against hidden defects within two years from the discovery of the defect.
For any request, write to contact@harlowsons.com, indicating your order number and attaching, if possible, a photo or video of the defect.
Article 9 – Liability
Winders must be used with the provided power supply and set according to the watch manufacturer's recommendations. The Seller cannot be held responsible for damage resulting from improper use.
Article 10 – Personal Data
The data collected is necessary for order processing and is processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), as described in our privacy policy.
Article 11 – Mediation and Disputes
These T&Cs are subject to French law. In the event of a dispute, the Customer should first contact customer service. Failing an amicable agreement, they may free of charge refer the matter to the consumer mediator: [name and contact details of the mediator to be completed]. French courts have jurisdiction, subject to consumer protection rules.
